LulaBand is designed to help reconnect children with parents, guardians and caregivers when assistance is needed.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the LulaBand website, parent portal, mobile application (if applicable) and any LulaBand products or services.

By purchasing, activating or using LulaBand, you agree to these Terms.

LulaBand is an NFC-enabled identification bracelet designed to provide quick access to emergency contact information chosen by a parent or guardian.

LulaBand is intended to assist with communication and identification when a child requires help. It is not a GPS tracker, emergency response service, medical device or substitute for adult supervision.

LulaBand is designed to:

• Provide access to parent or guardian contact details
• Display emergency information chosen by the parent
• Share relevant medical or allergy information if enabled
• Notify parents when a band is scanned (where available)
• Record scan activity within the parent portal

LulaBand does not guarantee a child will be located, identified or reunited with their caregiver.

LulaBand is a child identification aid only.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising children at all times.

LulaBand should not be relied upon as the sole method of ensuring a child’s safety and should not replace appropriate safeguarding measures.

In an emergency, always contact local emergency services.

LulaBand does not contain GPS technology.

The bracelet does not continuously monitor a child’s location, movement, travel history or whereabouts.

There is:

• No GPS
• No cellular connection
• No live tracking
• No continuous location monitoring

Location information is only generated when someone actively scans or taps the bracelet.

When a LulaBand is scanned or tapped:

• A scan event may be recorded
• A parent may receive an email notification
• A scan entry may be added to the parent portal

Where available, LulaBand may estimate an approximate location using information supplied by the scanning device, browser, IP address or network.

Location information:

• Is approximate only
• May not be available
• May be inaccurate
• Should not be relied upon for emergency response purposes

LulaBand does not guarantee the accuracy of any location estimate.

Parents and guardians decide what information is shown when a bracelet is scanned.

Information may include:

• Child’s first name
• Emergency contacts
• Allergies
• Medical conditions
• Medication information
• Additional notes

Users are responsible for ensuring all information remains accurate and up to date.

Account holders are responsible for:

• Keeping login details secure
• Maintaining accurate information
• Updating emergency contacts when necessary
• Updating medical information when circumstances change

LulaBand is not responsible for issues arising from outdated or inaccurate information entered by users.

LulaBand is committed to protecting personal information.

We process data in accordance with:

• UK GDPR
• EU GDPR
• Data Protection Act 2018

We only collect information necessary to provide LulaBand services.

All child information must be entered by a parent, guardian or authorised caregiver aged 18 or over.

LulaBand does not knowingly collect information directly from children.

Parents may update or remove their child’s information at any time through the parent portal.

LulaBand allows parents to share medical information that may be useful in an emergency.

However:

• LulaBand is not a medical device
• LulaBand does not provide medical advice
• Information displayed may be incomplete or outdated

Medical professionals and emergency responders should follow their own procedures and not rely solely on information displayed through LulaBand.

LulaBand bracelets are designed for everyday wear and are water resistant.

To ensure proper operation:

• Inspect the bracelet regularly
• Replace damaged products
• Keep contact information updated
• Check NFC functionality periodically

Normal wear and tear may affect product appearance over time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LulaBand shall not be liable for:

• Lost children
• Delayed assistance
• Failed scans
• Inaccurate location estimates
• Internet outages
• Third-party device failures
• Incorrect information entered by users
• Unauthorised account access resulting from user negligence

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

All LulaBand trademarks, branding, logos, designs, software, website content and materials remain the property of LulaBand.

No content may be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

Consumers may be entitled to rights under:

• Consumer Rights Act 2015
• Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

We may update, modify or improve LulaBand products, websites, portals and applications from time to time.

We reserve the right to make changes necessary for security, compliance or service improvement purposes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing within these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable local laws.
